I enjoyed the mix and have a little left still. I made it first for myself just using the basic instructions on the bag, and it was a nice lunch. Then I made it for my family, jazzing it up with zucchini and tomatoes, I even shared my recipe with Ash and on my instagram account tagging you all. And now I have enough for another meal and some new ideas! I love that the product is completely circular and very sustainable and organic and I love that it has inspired me to explore home cooking foods inspired by the Asian subcontinent.
This product is not only delish and sustainable, but it is SO EASY to prepare. It has totally solved my "I need a filling snack/meal that is good for me but I don't really have time" situation that I have..... all the time. So so yummy and so flexible to pair with all sorts of flavors.
I had never had or heard of chillas, but discovered Ojaswe through a climate community that focuses on locally sourced and sustainable foods. This chilla mix was delicious and so easy to put together. You can top it with ANYTHING - it's so versatile, and filling!

I love how fluffy the Spicy Chilla mix is! I have been topping mine with lebne and green onions for a snack, and have made them alongside fajita seasoned veggies with loads of fresh cilantro. big fan!
I love how versatile this Chilla mix is. Super easy to make and very delicious both on its own as well as with mix-ins. I have been adding za’atar seasoning and topping with tomato and olives for a Mediterranean snack, and have topped them with eggs for a filling breakfast. so good!

The chilla mix is quick, easy & tasty! For my last batch I doctored them up with a fried egg, hummus, avocado, feta & green onion - perfect for a late breakfast
The Chickpea Chilla Mix is wonderfully flavorful, healthy, and easy to prepare. As someone who is gluten free, that's hard to find! I made my chickpea chillas with veggies as the package recommended and they were fantastic. Energizing and delicious way to start my day!
Literally this is so easy and delicious when I’m strapped at lunch time in between meetings. I’m vegetarian so it’s hard for me to find clean sources of protein and I’m so grateful for this product! I also love knowing that the ingredients were sourced from really high quality farms. Have I mentioned how delicious it is!?! I add onions, tomatoes, cilantro and chat masala to mine. Definitely give it a try!
I knew I wanted to engage with more regenerative agriculture and healthier food, but I’d never made a chilla before and didn’t know what to expect. It was surprisingly quick (took less than 5 min from opening the package to plating it), delicious (especially with a scoop of thick yogurt on top) and bonus points for being sustainable and healthy. Will be ordering more for friends and family!
I loved Ojaswe Chilla mix. I created a thick batter with some veggies such as bell peppers, onions, tomatoes and it was deeply restorative and nutritious meal. I used to make chilla before with besan (or plain chick pea flour), but this chilla mix is coarsely ground so it has a nice bite to it. It is filling and nourishing both at once. My 4 year old picky son also loved it and it was such a blessing to have this chilla mix around when I needed it the most as I recover from COVID.
The chilla mix has become a go-to breakfast since I received my first pack - it’s packed with nutrients and goes well with veggies, eggs, even jam if you’re adventurous ;) I love the mission behind the company and can’t wait to see what’s next!
