Our chilla mix is made with only the highest quality vegan & gluten-free ingredients, ethically sourced from regenerative farmers. *Bonus* Super versatile & easy to make!
I knew I wanted to engage with more regenerative agriculture and healthier food, but I’d never made a chilla before and didn’t know what to expect. It was surprisingly quick (took less than 5 min from opening the package to plating it), delicious (especially with a scoop of thick yogurt on top) and bonus points for being sustainable and healthy. Will be ordering more for friends and family!
I loved Ojaswe Chilla mix. I created a thick batter with some veggies such as bell peppers, onions, tomatoes and it was deeply restorative and nutritious meal. I used to make chilla before with besan (or plain chick pea flour), but this chilla mix is coarsely ground so it has a nice bite to it. It is filling and nourishing both at once. My 4 year old picky son also loved it and it was such a blessing to have this chilla mix around when I needed it the most as I recover from COVID.
The chilla mix has become a go-to breakfast since I received my first pack - it’s packed with nutrients and goes well with veggies, eggs, even jam if you’re adventurous ;) I love the mission behind the company and can’t wait to see what’s next!
I absolutely loved the mix. The chilla was so easy to make and you can try out a new recipe almost every single time. I tried different types of veggies and cheese. Thank you for this, Ojaswe! It tastes just like how my mom make it.
I love the fact that it's high fiber, gluten-free, vegan and taste delicious. I love to mix Rotel tomatoes in with the spicy and literally eat it as a snack, a side dish for breakfast, or as a side dish at dinner.
This stuff is sooo delicious and satisfying. Even my husband loves it - and he is pretty much a standard American picky eater! I put cheddar cheese on top for him.
I especially love the way I feel after eating these pancakes. And how super easy they are to make.
I’ll start by saying that I’m not very good in the kitchen and am pretty intimidated by a recipe but this Chilla was one of the easiest things I’ve made! I poured the flour, added water, mixed it together and threw it on a pan with some olive oil. It was all ready in 15 minutes! I added cheese for extra flavor and it was super tasty. The entire family enjoyed my creation. I was also pleasantly surprised by the amount of protein per serving. I can see me making this for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I highly recommend it!
I came across their stall at a holiday market and am so glad I did! I love chickpeas and their versatility, but they have made it so easy! I will be using this mix to meal prep for my lunches during the week either on its own or as green onion pancakes! SO GOOD!!
I’d never had a Chilla before, but Ojaswe has converted me! These are really good, incredibly easy to make, and are a fun base to start experimenting in the kitchen! Highly recommend it with Kari Kari or another chili crisp.
This mix makes absolutely delicious chillas. We had some onions and power greens salad mix on hand, chopped them up and added them to the batter. So good! We ate some of them by themselves and used some of them as the “bread” for our vegan burgers. In a word, Yum! Can’t wait to try the spicy variety.
It's perfect for a healthy breakfast 😋. Tastes delicious. I used some fresh ajwain (carom) leaves, Thai chilli, cilantro, chopped onion, salt & red chilli powder to get authentic Indian chilla flavor but I am sure it can be customized with other options. Cant wait to try more.... Thank you!
These chickpea pancakes were so flavorful and easy to make. I made some plain with olive oil and some with leftover roasted (chopped up) potatoes mixed in. I also made a thinned yogurt-lemon-dill sauce to go with the potato ones...so good! Instant staple for easy lunches or dinners. They kept well as leftovers, too.
