I've been making chilla for my wife and me for brekkies a couple times a week, and it's been a great start to our mornings. Very filling and very calorie affordable (we're both trying to drop some pounds using the Noom system). We use leftover cut-up veg to make it like an Indian okonomiyaki, and sometimes make it a full-blown breakfast salad.
I really enjoyed this easy to mix and quick to cook meal. Loved it so much I ate it three days in a row!
This will be a staple in our house.

The spicy chilla mix is my go to meal when I need something yummy and convenient. It's super versatile - I like to throw in tomato paste and any chopped veggies I have in my fridge. But also great plain with just the right amount of kick. Definitely a new pantry staple!
I am a big chilla fan and grew up eating tomato chilla at home. Ojaswe chillas were better than the ones I had back home. Since the chickpeas are locally sourced, the chillas have a lovely, strong, and fresh aroma of the chickpeas that you can smell as soon as you open the packet. The flour is coarsely ground which lend a slightly crispier texture in the cooked chillas (something that I actually prefer) than the ones back home (which are made from finely ground chickpeas). The flavor is nutty, intensely umami and I am in love with them!
A great way to get your pancake fix when you're doing slow carb
I recently started doing a slow-carb diet for Jan and was given these as a gift. Being grain and sugar free they fit my diet perfectly. I've been using them as a carb supplement to things I normally eat with bread like soups and stews.
I look forward to trying them as their own dish with additional ingredients.
This chickpea chilla mix is bomb!! It's a perfect blend of authentic flavors that will leave your taste buds cravings more! I added a dollop of sour cream and I couldn't get enough. I highly recommend this product.
Made these for a potluck and they were a hit! Quick and simple to make (though I added veggies so that took a little extra time), and fit the needs of friends with pretty restrictive food allergies! They were a bit dry for my taste when I made them, but serving them with a topping really helped (like pepper jelly, yogurt, sour cream, chutney, hot honey, etc.)
Also, Ash is a lovely person :)
These make for some of the simplest, quick and easy weeknight dinners imaginable. If you're feeling extra hungry you can easily add eggs, tofu, or more veggies and buff it up. I bought extra and have been giving them out to friends that visit from out of town and everyone loves it!
I really like this product. It’s a pancake, but with a nutty flavor and better nutritional profile. It’s become a staple in both my pantry and my diet.
